We provide a detailed, itemised quote with no hidden costs. You know exactly what you’re getting and what it covers.
4
Contract awarded and works scheduled
Once you’re happy to proceed, we lock in a start date and get the trades coordinated.

Defit and Make Good FAQs
How do I know what my make good obligations are?
Your make good obligations are defined in your lease. The requirements vary from lease to lease, which is why we review that documentation before scoping the work. We’ll help you understand what’s required and make sure the scope we propose covers it.
How quickly can you get started?
We work with a large network of subcontractors across Queensland, which means we can absorb fast turnarounds even in a busy market. Get in touch as early as possible with your end date and we’ll work backwards from there. The more notice we have, the more options we have.
Can you work after hours or on weekends?
Yes. We regularly work weekends and after hours where the job requires it. This is particularly common in tenancies surrounded by other active businesses, where minimising disruption to neighbouring tenants is important.
What happens if my make good isn't done properly?
A substandard make good can affect your lease handback negotiations and may result in additional costs to bring the space up to the required standard. We have a strong track record of getting it right first time, which is why call-backs are rare.
Do you handle the waste and recycling?
Yes, waste disposal is included as part of our service. Where possible, we salvage old cable, metal, and other materials and recycle them rather than sending everything to landfill.
What size or type of spaces do you work in?
We work across retail, office, industrial, and hospitality spaces throughout Queensland. We’re experienced in both single-tenancy and multi-tenancy environments and understand how to manage works with minimal disruption to surrounding occupants.
